BRAD RALSTON DC, DACNB, FABBIR

Dr. Brad Ralston is the owner of NeuroHealth Services and lead doctor at the practice. He specializes in treating patients that have concussion, migraines, vertigo, and other complex neurological disorders. He is passionate about neurorehabilitation and restoring optimal function to patients' lives.

A concussion in high school led to Dr. Ralston’s insatiable curiosity about the brain and his desire to explore the conditions that interfere with everyday neurological functions. 

Because Dr. Ralston understands the unique challenges and frustrations associated with recovering from a head injury, he has devoted his practice to helping patients with an array of neurological conditions find relief and improve their quality of life.  

​As a functional neurologist, Dr. Ralston specializes in diagnosing complex neurological conditions and using non-invasive therapies proven to stimulate and retrain networks of the brain that have been compromised. Dr. Ralston develops a tailored brain rehabilitation program to treat the unique symptoms of each patient he sees.


​In addition to his board certification in chiropractic neurology, Dr. Ralston has also completed studies in functional neuro-orthopedic rehabilitation enabling him to treat chronic and complex pain, sports injuries, and post-surgical complications using the most contemporary and advanced approaches.

Additionally, his certification in the treatment of childhood neurobehavioral disorders has provided him with the expertise to treat children with ADD, ADHD, and autism. 

Dr. Ralston is also a Fellow of the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation, and he has completed additional coursework in vestibular rehabilitation. 

Dr. Ralston was raised in Indiana and earned degrees from Ball State University and Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis before earning his doctor of chiropractic degree from Logan University College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO., in 1999. While at Logan University, he worked as an emergency medical technician and participated in a post-graduate neurology program taught by Dr. Ted Carrick, founder of the prestigious Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies. Dr. Ralston received his Diplomate from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board in 2000.  ​

LUCAS GAFKEN DC, DACNB

Dr. Lucas Gafken treats patients at both NeuroHealth Services, and at his private practice in Auburn, IN. He specializes in treating patients with chronic disease, neuroendocrine imbalances, autoimmune disorders, and diverse neurological illnesses. Dr. Gafken focuses on relieving the effects of these complex issues with brain-based rehabilitation and nutritional or non-pharmaceutical application. His specialized training has provided him with the skills required to diagnose and treat patients who have been unable to find relief from their symptoms

Prior to earning his chiropractic and neurology degrees, Dr. Gafken completed his undergraduate studies at Ball State University. He obtained his doctor of chiropractic degree in 2009 from Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA.  Dr. Gafken earned his is diplomate from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board, after completing coursework at the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, in Cape Canaveral, FL. As a board-certified chiropractic neurologist, he continues to expand his clinical skills and is pursuing his certification in vestibular rehabilitation and functional neurological rehabilitation for concussion/traumatic brain injuries. 

​In 2014, Dr. Gafken joined Apex Energetics as a national seminar speaker/educator. He has lectured on several topics for healthcare practitioners on the application and implementation of functional neurology, functional medicine, and neuroimmunology, including:
