Brad Ralston DC, DACNB, FABBIR
Dr. Brad Ralston is the owner of NeuroHelth Services and lead physician at the practice. Dr. Ralston is a diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and has attainted a certification in TBI. Dr. Ralston is a Fellow of the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation. He has also completed coursework in Vestibular Rehabilitation. Dr. Ralston specializes in patients that have concussion, migraines, vertigo and other complex neurological disorders. He is passionate about restoring optimal function to patient's lives.
Prior to his training in chiropractic, Dr Ralston earned degrees from Ball State University and I.U.P.U.I. He worked as an EMT and an Emergency Room in St Louis while going through chiropractic college. Dr. Ralston earned his doctor of chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis Missouri in 1999. While in chiropractic school Dr. Ralston was enrolled in a post graduate neurology program taught by Dr. Ted Carrick, founder of the prestigious Carrick Institute. After attaining the required hours, Dr. Ralston received his diplomate from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board in 2000.
Dr. Ralston earned certification in Treatment of Neurobehavioral Disorders in Childhood taught by Dr. Robert Mellilo. Dr, Ralston has years of experience managing children with ADD, ADHD and Autism. He is the owner of the Brain Balance Center of Indianapolis which he is also involved.
Dr. Ralston distinguished himself by being named the ACA Chiropractic Neurologist of the year in 2004
Dr. Ralston recently completed coursework in Functional Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitation which is very robust and novel approach to treating chronic pain, sports injuries, and post surgical complications by combing rehabilitation with contemporary brain research. Dr. Ralston uses these approach to manage complex pain cases.
Lucas Gafken DC, DACNB
Dr. Lucas Gafken is a diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board in which he earned this prestigious degree through the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies. As a board-certified chiropractic neurologist, he continues to expand his clinical skills and is currently completing certification in vestibular rehabilitation and functional neurological rehabilitation for concussion/traumatic brain injuries.
Prior to earning his chiropractic and neurology degrees, Dr. Gafken completed his undergraduate studies at Ball State University. He obtained his doctor of chiropractic degree in 2009 from Life University - College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA.
Dr. Gafken maintains a private practice in both Auburn and Indianapolis, Indiana. His primary focus integrates the interaction between functional neurology and functional medicine. Those seeking care in his office routinely suffer with chronic disease, neuroendocrine imbalances, autoimmune disorders, and diverse neurological illnesses. His management focuses on supporting these complex issues with brain-based rehabilitation and nutritional or non-pharmaceutical application. Dr. Gafken’s specialty training has provided him with the advanced technical and diagnostic skills required to handle the most difficult client presentations.
In 2014, Dr. Gafken joined Apex Energetics as a national seminar speaker/educator and has lectured for several years to other healthcare practitioners on the application and implementation of functional neurology, functional medicine, and neuroimmunology.
